My Bandcamp account has been suspended.
Honestly, I expected it.
Still, it happened sooner than I thought…
So I turned it into a song.
I wasn’t trying to write about anger.
This isn’t a song to complain about Bandcamp, nor is it meant to blame anyone.
It’s about answering a different question:
“What do we do next?”
This track is the sound of that answer.
Because I couldn’t find a single reason to stop making music.

The Hidden Meaning Behind the Title
The song is titled BANNED.
It literally means “prohibited” or “removed.”
The title comes directly from what happened on Bandcamp.
But the lyrics intentionally repeat a different set of words:
BANDED
BRANDED
BOUND IN SEALING
That isn’t just for the sound of the words.
BANDED means “united” or “bound together.”
It represents music that was once scattered finding its way back together through the people who listen to it.
BRANDED means “marked” or “stamped with a label”—being judged, categorized, or defined by someone else’s mark.
BOUND IN SEALING represents being sealed away.
Even if something is locked away, it still exists.
So the chorus carries two meanings at once.
On one hand, it tells the story of being banned, branded, and sealed away.
On the other, it says that even after all of that, people come together—and the music survives.
That’s why the title is BANNED.
But the chorus sings BANDED.
That single-letter difference is the heart of the song.
